Reposing among court records today was a newly filed plea for divorce filed by Colleen Moore, one-time star of the silent screen, in which she charged her wealthy broker husband, Alfred P Scott, with extreme mental cruelty and ‘unreasonable jealousy.’

Miss Moore and Scott were married in Florida February 15, 1932. Nine months before that the actress had been given her freedom from John Emmett McCormick, prominent motion picture producer to whom she had been married nearly ten years

Miss Moore’s divorce plea against Scott was filed late yesterday, the same day that her $435,000 ‘pet extravagance’, a doll house fashioned with gold and precious jewels, made its Los Angeles appearance to raise funds for crippled and needy children
