bottom – Eleanore Whitney, ‘fastest girl on feet’, burns up the ‘Tap-o-meter’, ingenious machine for measuring the speed of taps, as Danny Dare, dance director, looks on. Dare will not allow girls to work in Paramount’s Three Cheers For Love unless they can tape more than 250 taps a minute. Eleanore is pushing the machine close to the 500-per-minute mark. She’s reached 10-taps a second in speed trials
